A day guiding Sandra, Carwyn & Craig started with a Wryneck at Martin’s Haven around 0740 this morning, and finished with finding a superb juvenile Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Dale Airfield this afternoon (first spotted by Sandra’s keen eyes at 1430), at the southern end of the stony field, west of the western runway (HERE). Also 3 Whinchat at the NE corner, quite a long way off on a distant hedgerow.
