In July of 2021 Chandler Halderson shot his father Bart Halderson and mother Krista Halderson after they were about to discover a web of lies Chandler had weaved. He then dismembered their bodies and discarded some parts throughout the county and burned other parts in his families fireplace. Chandler was sentenced to life without parole.
