Did you know that more money was spent on marketing The Angry Bird Movie than making it? The rumored $86 million production budget for The Angry Birds Movie was used to hire famous voices and complete the animation necessary to create the film. However, it’s rumored that an additional $114 million was being spent on its promotion. Since the company that created Angry Birds, Rovio Entertainment, is Finnish, the production budget makes it by far the most costly movie to ever be produced in Finland. The previous record-holder, the 2014 film Big Game starring Samuel L. Jackson, which cost $9.7 million to make, is being made with ten times as much money.
