Didn’t manage to get out today, but on Monday and Tuesday still a decent amount of Brent Geese, 35 on Monday and 26 on Tuesday. There were 4 dark-bellied / bernicla birds amongst the pale-bellied / hrota, I wasn’t sure two of them were pure bernicla so I checked with an expert friend who sees lots in Norfolk and he was happy that they were all bernicla. I don’t recall seeing this many in Pembrokeshire before, it is usually the odd 1 or 2 amongst the more numerous hrota.
