Humming-Bird Hawkmoth

Not as exotic as some of the migrants we have had of late, but pleasing none-the-less to have a humming-bird hawk moth in our garden in Crundale today. They are regular but infrequent visitors here. We had one on 20 Oct last year feeding on Salvia, the one today prefers Verbena Bonariensis. It makes you wonder what might be there when you’re not looking!
