Mongoose live in herds and follow a social hierarchy, often with females at the top of the herd in the animal world. Male mongooses are slightly heavier than females. They mainly eat snakes, eggs, insects, and sometimes rodents, but rarely attack animals larger than themselves in the animal world.
Therefore, hunting a prey larger than them, makes the sight of mongoose hunting rabbits special in the animal world. Perhaps hunger is the only factor that makes the mongoose decide to attack the rabbit.
At that time, it seems that the leader mongoose was the only one that attacked the rabbit in the animal world. Several mongooses then dragged the hare into the grass, out of view of the camera. This is a rare sight, the strange thing is that the mongooses take turns attacking rabbits in the animal world. Rabbits may not be the ideal and frequent prey of many predators. But it is a safe prey and helps predators satisfy their hunger in a short time in the animal world.
