Plenty of snipe on Dowrog common this morning for my WeBS count but not much else .
The female lesser scaup is still at Penberi Reservoir , also a hybrid duck – mallard plus something else. It had a chestnut head reminiscent of teal with a central green crown, otherwise much like drake mallard without the upcurled tail feathers or white neck collar. Bill dark.
