40 Lapwing: Flock of exactly 40 on LL island. Only 9 of which were juvs. Young don’t survive early crop cuts. 12:13.
2 Hobby: one 2cy, hardly any hint of moult. one adult. 12:13.
Marsh Harrier: cream crown. First for a while. Age … 2cy? Brilliant white crown and throat. No pale on chest of forewing. Tall dull brown seems to rule out adult. Moult gap at junction of prim and secs (p1?). 12:13.
