Pochard – c15, possibly still more. Down from the max count of 65 last week.
Great white egret – 3. All together on the far side of the Great Lake.
Grey heron – 9 or 10 occupied nests now on the Queen Pool island. There seemed a lot more activity from them today compared to recent weeks.
Oystercatcher – 1 on the Queen Pool island. 2 last week.
