Westfield Pill / Deer Park

A group of about 20 hirundines, most of them House Martins, were feeding over the water at Westfield Pill earlier today. I also had an excellent view of a Kingfisher, which flew over to the side of the lake not much more than 3 metres from me, before flying back across the lake almost immediately. Early yesterday morning at the Deer Park, I was greeted by a group of about 8 Wheatears, which looked as if they had recently arrived. I also had a brief view of what looked like an Owl (most likely a Short-eared Owl) which flew out of sight before I could take a photo, or get my binoculars properly onto it.
